Dronetag was admitted to a space start-up incubator ESA BIC Prague

On 8. August 2019 a two-year incubation contract was signed between Dronetag s.r.o. and business incubator ESA BIC Prague, legally represented by business support agency CzechInvest. Apart from Dronetag, another two projects were admitted - Neuron Soundware and Stratosyst. The admission was based on a regular tender, where dozens of promising projects apply each year.

What is ESA BIC Prague?

ESA BIC Prague is one of the branches of a vast network of 20 ESA BIC incubators throughout Europe, which were created to support entrepreneurs with an interest in the utilization of space technologies. The whole ESA BIC network annually provides, along with its international partners and European Space Agency (ESA), necessary financial, business and technical support for up to 180 start-ups. Prague branch of ESA BIC was founded in 2016 and in 3 years of its existence supported 21 projects, where 8 of them managed to raise CZK 75 million from private investors.

What does admission to ESA BIC mean for Dronetag?

Alongside the financial support of up to 50 thousands euro, which can be used for development expenses, Dronetag gets an opportunity for acquiring valuable contacts throughout Europe. During the two-year incubation program it is possible to utilize up to 80 hours of technical mentoring, investment and business consulting, or to obtain preferential access to world conferences. Admission to ESA BIC Prague also means higher credibility for other business subjects, which can help with cooperation with large companies or state enterprises. Thanks to this admission, Dronetag is moving into the new Prague Startup Centre offices in the heart of Prague.
